GLAM Wiki Conference 2025
The GLAM Wiki 2025 conference took place in Lisbon between October 30 and November 1, 2025.
The GLAM Wiki 2025 conference aims to connect the Wikimedia community with GLAM institutions, which include galleries, libraries, archives, and museums. The theme of this year’s conference is resilience in all its forms.
Participants discussed how the Wikimedia community and GLAM institutions can work together to build resilient practices in knowledge access, cultural heritage digitization and long-term data preservation. Participants shared examples of good practices, discussed the challenges of sustainable operations and looked for ways to strengthen collaboration between volunteers, researchers and cultural institutions.
The event represented an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, establish new partnerships and strengthen connections between the digital community and cultural heritage custodians.
